Industrial Sites

I represent commercial landlords, railway, forestry and manufacturing companies with respect to the acquisition and sale of industrial and environmentally sensitive lands.

Early due diligence is a key component of the acquisition, lease, or disposition of any site with industrial or environmentally sensitive uses as the value of the site can be far exceed by the cost of the environmental remediation.

As soon as the site is identified, clients should contact me to discuss what they know of the history of the site and its intended future uses and what steps are needed to undertake to verify the representations and warranties on the site’s condition that are being made by the vendor.
